About Us:
A successful protective security business is one that not only sends customers and clients home happy, but is one that sends customers and clients home safe to their families. We know that its easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life's events. At Protective Security Specialists, LLC we provide you and your family with professionals who take their jobs very serious, that failure is not an option. Just like the samurai in medieval times that were sworn to protect their Lord and who conducted their duties by the Bushido Code, Protective Security Specialists, LLC is also sworn by this same code, and that failure could mean the difference between life and death and failure when it comes to your safely is not an option.
Protective Security Specialists, LLC was founded in 2000 by Michael Vincent in Jacksonville, Florida. Our idea for the business came from the owner-Michael Vincent. His 28 years of experience as a professional bodyguard and high threat protective security specialist allowed him to visualize what he wanted to do for a career choice in life, and what he wanted to do for the people that he is sworn to protect or train throughout his ventures in life. Team Biographies:
Michael Vincent Bodyguard and Private Investigator

Michael's experience in the Bodyguard, Private Investigations, Executive Protection, Personal Protection, Protective Security Services, and Tactical Security, Tactical Weapons, Martial Arts and Self Defense Training industry started in 1985 when he enlisted in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger in Special Operations. During his 8-year tour, he received some of the best training available in Bodyguard, Executive Protection, Private Investigations, Personal Protection, Protective Security, Tactical Security, Leadership, Tactical Weapons, CQB, Martial Arts, Self Defense and Hand to Hand Combat. This tour of duty gave him amongst other things an excellent grounding in Bodyguard, Private Investigations, Executive Protection, Personal Protection, Protective Security Operations, and Tactical Security, Tactical Weapons, Martial Arts and Self Defense Instruction. During his tour, he served in two combat operations, "Operation Just Cause", the Invasion of Panama, and “Operation Desert Storm." He served as Team Leader and led his team in many successful combat missions.
Since leaving the US Army in 1993 he has provided and managed an extensive range of Bodyguard, Private Investigations, Executive Protection, Personal Protection, Protective Security Services, and Martial Arts, Self Defense, Tactical Weapons, and Tactical Security training. These services have been provided to local personnel and agencies, as well Department of State, High Threat Protective Security Specialists. He is a Master Guro 8th Degree Black Sarong in the Filipino Martial Arts, a Master SiFu 8th Degree Black Sash in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Jeet Kune Do, and Master Guro Level 5 Black Sarong in Maphilindo Silat & Majapahit Martial Arts. He is also a Full Instructor-Level 2 under SiFu and Tuhan Dan Inosanto. His experience has included providing close protection for diplomats from the US State Department and USAID in the Middle East. These duties included but are not limited to providing High Threat Motorcade Operations, Low Profile Protection, and close protection duties as an Agent-in-Charge (AIC). Most recently, operating as a Team Leader for a 16-man, High Threat Protective Security Specialists’ team. He is the chief security operations, private investigator, and tactical training instructor for Protective Security Specialists.
His diverse and continuous operational experience over the past 28 years enables him to provide no nonsense professional services and training programs. His operational experience, training procedures, and tactical expertise are at the highest level within the Protective Security and Private Investigations industry.
